Depuis jeudi le 10 avril à 22h00, l’usine Fiat de Pomigliano est paralysée par une grève. Un comité ouvrier, formé indépendamment de l’appareil syndical, organise la mobilisation. Jusqu’à dimanche, les piquets de grève ont été soutenus par 99% de la main d’œuvre. Lundi, le 14 avril, les grévistes ont décidé de bloquer le passage des marchandises de manière à fermer entièrement l’usine.
Le conflit porte sur le sort de 316 ouvriers qualifiés de «gênants» par l’entreprise qui a décidé de les donner en sous-traitance au centre logistique de Nola, qui de l’avis de tout le monde n’est qu’une antichambre vers le chômage. Ce qui est en jeu est donc l’avenir de tout le personnel de l’usine qui n’offre aucune garantie de sécurité d’emploi.
Le blocage des camions se poursuivra tant que les 316 travailleurs n’auront pas été réintégrés dans l’usine. Le soutien et la solidarité active sont essentiels pour les grévistes qui maintiennent des piquets 24 heures par jour. Perdre cette bataille dans la plus importante usine du Sud de l’Italie condamnerait des milliers de familles au chômage et à la pauvreté. Mais vaincre serait un coup significatif contre l’appauvrissement progressif, la désorientation et la précarité qui menacent aujourd’hui tous les travailleurs et toutes les travailleuses.
