PUBLIC MEETING AND DISCUSSION
Today’s wars are not a product of ego, religion or human nature. They are a necessary feature of capitalism, along with the earth’s ruin, the poverty of the “developing” world, and our very own workplace exploitation. ‘Imperialism’ is thrown around as a leftist buzzword with confused meanings, as if it’s a behaviour performed by certain bad countries. But it's no more nor less than the final phase of capitalism. The competition of businesses has become the competition of nations, for materials and strategy, for profits and power.
Imperialism is part and parcel of the global capitalist system, and no country exists outside of its reach. The devastations of imperialism will not end either with the independence of new nations or an international court of justice. Only the end of capitalism through a working-class revolution can put an end to the senseless barbarity.

The Russian Revolution remains a landmark event in history. For the bourgeois historians, the October Revolution is thought to be a tragedy that set back the achievements of the “democratic” February Revolution, and allowed the Bolsheviks to wreak havoc on their citizens and the world. For the Stalinists, the events of 1917 paved the way for the birth of the USSR, which they point to as a prototypical example of “socialism in one country”. In reality, the February and October Revolutions were both part of the same proletarian revolution.

I translate this as "Excellent article, bravo but there remains one more practical issue - what do we do with (in?) demonstrations of the far right. 1. must we promote workers' militancy? 2 give out leaflets on the need for the party? 3. just take part in anti-racist demonstrations? 4. denounce these anti racist demonstrations?
I don't think you have understood the message in the article which is that this whole affair is a diversion to take us away from the class terrain. Yes if the neo-fascists attempt to enter a working class area we fight them as the class (as in Oltretorrente (Parma) in 1921 or even in San Francisco last month where dock workers ended the prospect of a fascist hate-speaker). But to line up with the pro-democracy anti-fascist line is not lining up with the class - it is lining up with the very democratic state that exploits workers daily. And promoting workers' militancy is not enough or even the issue - it is promoting their self-conscious class action to act autonomously of all capitalist factions that is the issue.
